On the afternoon of September 4, a new lithium-ion new energy yacht was successfully launched near Erdaozha of Haihe River in Tianjin. The successful launch of this new energy yacht is of great significance to the promotion of the kinetic energy reform of Tianjin Tourism Group and the realization of ship upgrades. It is also the first attempt of inland river ships in the field of new energy in North China.
The yacht was jointly built by Tianjin Tourism Group and China Shipbuilding Industry Group. It has a total length of nearly 30 meters and is equipped with battery system of EVE Power, which can ensure that the yacht can reach a range of 100 kilometers at a speed of 12km/h. In addition, as a "predecessor" in the field of new energy, this lithium-ion new energy yacht has achieved zero-emission and pollution-free environmental protection effects, and truly practices the development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets".
As one of the core brands in the new energy ship power battery market, the number of ships installed with EVE Power’s battery is more than 200, ranking top in China. And the batteries are widely used in pleasure boats, sightseeing yachts, cruise ships, port tugs, and river-sea intermodal bulk carrier, etc.
Being a domestic supplier of lithium batteries and system solutions with physical ship operation experience, EVE Power’s LFP cell has become a core choice for ship power battery at this stage due to its high safety, long life, balanced performance, and high cost performance.
It is reported that Haihe plans to gradually replace existing fuel-fueled ships with clean energy ships within three to five years, truly achieving zero emissions, pollution-free, and technological advancement. For this reason, EVE Power will continue to promote technological innovation of marine power products in the future and contribute to the green and environmental development.
